Meet Nick

Hi, I’m Nick! I first picked up a hammer in 2020, experimenting with simple, practical items for my home. What began as a personal hobby quickly grew into creating gifts for family and friends, then into professional commissions—and ultimately, the founding of this business. Today, I’m proud not only to forge custom pieces in my workshop in Laurel, Maryland, but also to share my knowledge as an assistant instructor with the Blacksmith Guild of Central Maryland in Westminster.

I’m a self-taught blacksmith who has invested thousands of hours into learning the blacksmithing and welding trades. Along the way, I’ve built many of my own tools, machinery, and even parts of my workspace to push my craft further and refine my art.

Born and raised in Laurel, I still live here with my wife, Hannah, and our German Shepherd/Lab mix, Max. By day, I’ve spent over 16 years as a machinist with Amtrak at Union Station in Washington, D.C.—a career that’s sharpened my precision and technical skills, and one that naturally complements my blacksmithing.

Thanks for visiting my site! Whether you’re interested in a custom commission, a private class, or simply learning more about the art of blacksmithing, I’d love to hear from you.
